Silas’s Story

Born in the South of France, Silas came to the USA 41 years ago, in order to study in Boston then New York. There, in the 1990’s, Silas worked as a Producer establishing a Film Festival and her own production company in Paris and New York. Later, she worked as Gallery Manager and Director for Blue Chip Art Galleries in New York City. In 2014, Silas and her husband created their own gallery art gallery (vonmorisse.com) which evolved from a beautiful space to “Online Viewing Room” allowing them to continue working with artists remotely. Burnt by the intensity of New York city’s life, and wanting to pursue a quieter way of life, Silas an her husband relocated to Cody WY in 2021 where they created their new business venture: Angry Bison Media to help anyone in need of professional photography and a well designed website.

With “The Circle”, Silas is proud to be part of a group of exceptional women dedicated to nurturing and helping each other. “I love the idea of the circle and working with women in collaboration and cooperation, not competition. Collaboration and cooperation are the only way and Nature is about collaboration. It resonates with me on a deep level. Being in the Far West was a long time dream of mine. I am grateful we have been able to move here.”
