Birthing Traditions Midwifery

My heart has been in birth since my own.  For years I assisted in a Doula role both at home and in hospitals. By watching the contrast in these births, it further struck my interest in desiring to be a part of the movement toward giving women ownership in something that is truly theirs– their birth. In 2010 the Wyoming Legislature passed legislation bringing legalized home birth, accompanied by Certified Professional Midwives/Licensed Midwives (CPM/LM), to Wyoming. I graduated  from Midwives College of Utah with a degree in Midwifery Science including both didactic and clinical training. I am also a Certified Professional Midwife registered with the North American Registry of Midwives (NARM).  I am licensed as a midwife, LM, through the Wyoming State Board of Midwifery, and in Montana under the Alternative Health Care Board.  I am certified in both CPR and NRP. I have attended over 250 births.
